3 - 2x + 5 < -4(x + 2)
-2x + 8 < -4(x + 2)
-2x + 8 < -4x - 8
-2x + 8 + 4x < -8
2x + 8 < -8
2x < -8 - 8
2x < -16
x < -16/2
x < -8

Answer: A) x < -8
