Yes, but it has mild effects on thinning blood. It interferes with your blood platelets, in which can reduce the ability of the blood to clot. For instance, if you cut your finger it may take longer for it to clot. Patients who suffers from a condition where platelets is a concern, then ibuprofen is a good choice.
