4a: Add the numbers with x separately first. So (+6x) + (-5x) + (-x). In this case, they cancel, so the answer is 0x.
Then add the other numbers (-6) + (+4), which is -2.
The simplified answer is -2 + 0x or just -2.

#4a) -6 - 5x + 6x + 4 - x = -6 + - 5x + 6x + 4 + - x
Combine like terms!!
= -6 + -4x + 6x + 4 + -x
= (-5x + 6x + -x) + (-6 + 4)
= -2
So -6 - 5x + 6x + 4 - x = -2.
#5a) -4 - 10w - 3w + 7 + 8w = -4 + - 10w + - 3w + 7 + 9w
Combine like terms!
= -4 + -10w + -3w + 7 + 8w
= (-10w + -3w + 8w) + (-4 + 7)
= -5w + 3
So -4 - 10w - 3w + 7 + 8w = -5w + 3.
Feel free to rate/thank/mark as brainliest if you see fit! (:
