given,

Mass of sample of charcoal = 3.0 g

Volume of sample of charcoal = 10cm^3

We know that,
Density = mass/volume

Density of sample of charcoal = mass of sample of charcoal /volume of sample of charcoal

=> density = 3 g /10 cm^3 = 0.3 g/cm^3
