Adolf Hitler was trying cleanse the "German race" of all impurities. Other "races" like the Gypsies, Slavs, also people of the German race like the Jehovah's witnesses, the disabled and mentally ill were also sent to concentration camps. It's really sad to even read. Hitler just wanted to get rid of them in other words.
