what is the slope of this line? I'm not sure if I'm doing it right. But I did it like this:
change in y/change in x
-4-4/-4-1
-8/-5
should i simplify it? or keep it a fraction?
Looks like the rise(y) is 2.5 and the run(x) is 1.5. ur going from neagitive to poitive or viseversa so 2.5/1.5. usally use two points on the line. i used (-1.5,0) and (0,2.5) to get 2.5/1.5
