It would be: 60 * 5 1/2 / 100

60*11/2*100 = 660/200 = 3.3

To get a percent of any number, multiply it by the decimal form of a percentage. To get a decimal form, divide the percentage by 100, therefore, 5.5% = 0.055. The solution is 60 * 0.55, or 3.3.
