the pharaoh exercised power over everyone and everything in Egypt. he ruled over upper and lower Egypt and represented the gods on earth.
He’s kinda like a Chinese emperor he has power over everything and everyone. And their people believes that the emperors and pharaohs had direct contact to the “gods” kinda like how we do with email :)
