4.25 is greater than 4.228, b/c 5 in the hundreds place is much more greater than a 2 that is in the hundreds place. No matter how long the number is, 4.25 will still be greater than 4.228

Yes it’s is what I do is I line them up in 4.25 the 5 is greater than the 2 in 4.228 ☺️
