we are given

1 ton = 2000 pounds

so,

0.75 ton=2000*0.75 pounds

0.75 ton=1500 pounds

0.75 tons of dirt = cost 150

so,

1500 pounds of dirt =$150

1 pound of dirt =$(150/1500)
