It was letter B. Soviet Union. The Germans launched a massive invasion of
Poland in 1939. Apart from Germany, the
Soviet Union together with some German allies took part. Though the Poles fought hard against these
invading forces but it was not enough.
Poland fell but many soldiers managed to escape to fight in exile.
